To connect the Polk Monitor XT35 Slim Center Channel Speaker to your existing speaker system, follow these steps:
1. Identify the speaker wire connections on the back of the XT35 speaker. It uses nickel-plated 5-way binding posts for connectivity.
2. Loosen the hex nut on the binding post and insert the bare speaker wire through the hole. Make sure the wire is not insulated.
3. Tighten the hex nut to secure the connection.
4. Repeat the above steps for the other speaker wire.
5. Connect the other end of the speaker wires to the corresponding speaker outputs on your amplifier or receiver.
6. Ensure that the polarity of the speaker wires is correct, with positive (+) and negative (-) connections matching on both the speaker and the amplifier/receiver.
7. Once all connections are made, power on your amplifier or receiver and test the sound output from the XT35 speaker.
