To power on the GPX BCD1806 Boombox, you have two options: AC power or battery power.
1. AC Power: Attach the AC cord to the unit and plug it into a power outlet. This will provide continuous power to the boombox.
2. Battery Power: The boombox can also be powered by eight "C" batteries (not included). To use battery power, simply insert the batteries into the designated battery compartment on the back of the boombox. Make sure to match the polarity (+/-) correctly. Once the batteries are inserted, you can turn on the boombox using the power button.
