To install the ELAC Debut IW-DC51-W Custom In-Wall Center Channel Speaker, follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired location for the speaker on the wall. Ensure that there is enough space and proper wiring behind the wall for installation.
2. Use the provided cut-out template to mark the dimensions of the speaker on the wall.
3. Carefully cut the marked area on the wall using appropriate tools, following the template guidelines.
4. Connect the speaker cables to the heavy-duty metal spring terminals on the back of the speaker. Ensure proper polarity (positive and negative connections).
5. Insert the speaker into the cut-out hole in the wall, making sure it fits securely.
6. Use screws or other appropriate mounting hardware (not included) to secure the speaker to the wall.
7. If desired, attach the included paintable metal magnetic grille to the front of the speaker for a clean and finished look.
8. Connect the other end of the speaker cables to your AV receiver or amplifier, following the manufacturer's instructions.
9. Power on your AV receiver or amplifier and configure it to recognize the center channel speaker.
10. Test the speaker by playing audio and adjusting the volume and settings as needed.
