To install the Pioneer Car Electronics TS-WX010A powered subwoofer in your car, follow these steps:
1. Start by finding a suitable location in your car to mount the subwoofer. The TS-WX010A is designed to fit in the passenger side footwall, but you can choose a different location if desired.
2. Use the included mounting brackets and screws to securely mount the subwoofer in the chosen location. Make sure it is securely fastened to prevent any vibrations or movement during use.
3. Connect the subwoofer to your car's audio system using the provided wire harness. The TS-WX010A uses RCA connectivity, so locate the RCA output on your car's audio system and connect it to the RCA input on the subwoofer.
4. Ensure that the power wire of the subwoofer is connected to a suitable power source in your car. The subwoofer comes with a 10A ATO fuse installed on the power wire for protection.
5. Once all the connections are made, refer to your car's audio system manual to adjust the settings for the subwoofer. This may include adjusting the volume, phase control, and crossover settings.
6. Power up the subwoofer and adjust the volume to your preferred level. If available, set the phase control to 0 or normal to start with.
7. Test the subwoofer by playing audio through your car's audio system. Adjust the volume and other settings as needed to achieve the desired bass response.
