To connect your Polk Audio MagniFi Mini soundbar to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Check the available connections on your TV and the soundbar. The MagniFi Mini has HDMI ARC, optical, and 3.5mm analog inputs.
2. If your TV has an HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port, use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI ARC port on your TV to the HDMI ARC port on the soundbar. This allows for both audio playback from the TV and control of the soundbar using your TV's remote control.
3. If your TV does not have an HDMI ARC port, you can use an optical cable to connect the optical output on your TV to the optical input on the soundbar. Alternatively, you can use a 3.5mm analog cable to connect the headphone or audio output on your TV to the 3.5mm analog input on the soundbar.
4. Once the physical connections are made, power on the TV and the soundbar.
5. On your TV, navigate to the settings menu and enable the HDMI ARC or optical output, depending on the connection you used.
6. Use your TV's remote control to adjust the volume and control the soundbar.
