To adjust the output gain level on the Saramonic Vmic5 Pro shotgun microphone, follow these steps:
1. Locate the Output Gain Level Button on the microphone. It is labeled with (-10dB, OdB, +20dB).
2. Short press the Output Gain Level Button to cycle through the available gain levels. The available options are -10dB, OdB, and +20dB.
3. Choose the appropriate gain level based on your recording scenario. The OdB setting is suitable for most situations, while the +20dB setting can be used to turn down your camera's preamp for cleaner sound or to capture subjects from further away in noisy environments.
4. Once you have selected the desired gain level, release the Output Gain Level Button.
