To connect the PLXR2B to your car audio system, follow these steps:
1. Power Input Cable (12V): Connect the positive terminal of the power input cable to your vehicle's battery or another constant +12V source.
2. Ground Input Cable (GND): Connect the ground input cable to the vehicle's chassis ground for better conductivity. If necessary, scrape off paint to reveal bare metal at the contact point.
3. Remote Turn-On Input Cable: Connect the remote turn-on input cable to the remote control wire or antenna lead of the source unit. If not available, connect the orange lead to a switched +12V source, such as the ignition switch.
4. Left/Right High Impedance Input: Connect the outputs of the source unit to the left/right high impedance inputs of the crossover.
5. Left/Right Low Impedance Input: If RCA output is not available, connect the speaker outputs of the signal source to the left/right low impedance inputs of the crossover.
6. High-Pass Output Terminals: Connect the left/right high-pass output terminals of the crossover to the mid/tweeter amplifier's left/right inputs.
7. Low-Pass Output Terminals: Connect the left/right low-pass output terminals of the crossover to the woofer/subwoofer amplifier's left/right inputs.
8. Reconnect the Battery Ground: Double-check all the connections and installation steps, then reconnect the battery ground to the vehicle chassis.
