To connect the Sony BDP-S6500 Blu Ray Disc DVD Player to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Check the available ports on your TV and the Blu Ray player. The Sony BDP-S6500 has HDMI, composite video, and component video outputs.
2. If your TV has an HDMI input, use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI output on the Blu Ray player to the HDMI input on your TV. Make sure to insert the HDMI cable securely into both devices.
3. If your TV does not have an HDMI input, you can use a composite video cable. Connect the composite video output on the Blu Ray player to the composite video input on your TV. The composite video cable has yellow, red, and white connectors. Match the colors of the connectors to the corresponding ports on both devices.
4. If your TV has a component video input, you can use a component video cable. Connect the component video output on the Blu Ray player to the component video input on your TV. The component video cable has red, green, and blue connectors. Match the colors of the connectors to the corresponding ports on both devices.
5. Once the connections are made, turn on your TV and Blu Ray player.
6. Use the TV remote or the input/source button on your TV to select the appropriate input source for the Blu Ray player. If you connected the Blu Ray player using HDMI, select the HDMI input on your TV. If you used composite or component video, select the corresponding input on your TV.
7. The Blu Ray player should now be connected to your TV, and you can start enjoying your Blu Ray discs and DVDs.
