To connect the Smmvinnr CG3A Wireless Outdoor Camera to Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
1. Download and install the Smmvinnr app on your Android or iOS device. You can scan the QR code provided in the user guide or visit the link https://www.vicohome.io/download/ to download the app.
2. Sign in to the app and connect your mobile device to your Wi-Fi network.
3. In the app, click the "Add Now" button and press and hold the camera's switch button for 3 seconds to turn it on.
4. The app will automatically search for devices that are on and not bound. Select the device you want to bind from the search results.
5. Enter the name and password of the Wi-Fi network you want the camera to connect to. Make sure the Wi-Fi network is a 2.4GHz network with stronger wall penetration capability and does not have enterprise-level authentication.
6. Click "Next" and the app will try to connect the camera to the Wi-Fi network. After a while, the camera will play a sound indicating a successful connection.
7. Set a name for the camera in the app and select the location where you want to place the camera. Click "Finish" to complete the pairing.
If you encounter any issues during the binding process, refer to the user guide for troubleshooting tips related to Wi-Fi password errors, authentication errors, Wi-Fi not found, retrieving IP timeout, or cloud service connection fail.
