To connect the Yamaha NS-777 tower speakers to your amplifier, you have two options: standard connection and bi-wired connection.
Standard Connection:
1. Make sure your amplifier is switched off.
2. Connect the xxxx -type input terminals at the rear of the speaker to the speaker output terminals of the amplifier using the speaker cable.
3. Connect the (+) terminals on the amplifier and the speaker using one side of the cable. Connect the (-) terminals on both components using the other side of the cable.
4. Connect one speaker to the left (marked L) terminals of your amplifier and another speaker to the right (marked R) terminals, making sure not to reverse the polarity (+, -).
Bi-Wired Connection:
1. Remove the short bars from the terminals on the rear of the speaker.
2. Connect the mid-woofer/woofer and tweeter to the amplifier separately using two pairs of cables.
3. Connect one pair of cables to the mid-woofer/woofer terminals on the speaker and the corresponding terminals on the amplifier.
4. Connect the other pair of cables to the tweeter terminals on the speaker and the corresponding terminals on the amplifier.
Note: When connecting the speaker cables, make sure to remove the insulation coating at the end of each cable, insert the bare wire into the terminal, and tighten the xxxx to secure the connection. Avoid letting the bare speaker wires touch each other.
