To charge the iHome iBT371 speaker, follow these steps:
1. Connect the micro-USB plug on the included charging cable to the USB Charging jack on the speaker.
2. Connect the larger USB plug to a powered USB port, such as that on a USB AC adapter connected to a wall outlet.
3. The light on the speaker will turn solid red while charging and turn off when fully charged.
4. If the LED flashes red, or you notice sound distortion at higher volumes, or there is no sound at all, it's time to recharge the battery.
Please note that the charging time for the iHome iBT371 speaker is approximately 3-5 hours, and it has a battery life of up to 8 hours.
