To record audio onto a CD using the Teac CD-RW890MK2 Home Audio CD Recorder, follow these steps:
1. Connect your audio source: Connect the audio output of your audio source (such as a CD player, cassette deck, or turntable) to the Line Input jacks on the back panel of the CD recorder using RCA cables.
2. Set the recording level: Use the REC LEVEL xxxx on the front panel to adjust the recording level. Start with a low level and gradually increase it until the desired recording level is achieved. The REC LEVEL meter on the front panel will help you monitor the recording level.
3. Load a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc: Open the disc tray by pressing the OPEN/CLOSE button on the front panel. Place a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc onto the disc tray, with the label side facing up. Close the disc tray by pressing the OPEN/CLOSE button again.
4. Select the recording mode: Press the REC MODE button on the front panel to select the desired recording mode. You can choose from Track-at-Once (TAO), Disc-at-Once (DAO), or Program (PRGM) mode. Refer to the user manual for more details on each recording mode.
5. Start recording: Press the REC/PAUSE button on the front panel to start recording. The REC indicator will light up, indicating that the recording is in progress. If you want to pause the recording, press the REC/PAUSE button again. To stop the recording, press the STOP button.
6. Finalize the disc (optional): If you are using a CD-R disc, you have the option to finalize the disc after recording. Finalizing the disc makes it playable on most CD players. To finalize the disc, press the FINALIZE button on the front panel after stopping the recording. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the finalization process.
7. Eject the disc: After recording and finalizing (if applicable), press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the front panel to open the disc tray. Remove the recorded disc and close the disc tray.
Please note that this is a general overview of the recording process. For more detailed instructions and information, refer to the user manual provided with the Teac CD-RW890MK2 Home Audio CD Recorder.
