To set up and use the SeaLife ReefMaster RM-4K Camera for underwater photography, follow these steps:
1. Charging the Battery:
- Connect the camera to a power source using the included USB cable.
- The battery indicator LED will turn red while charging and green when fully charged.
2. Inserting the Micro SD Card:
- Open the battery compartment by sliding the latch and lifting the cover.
- Insert a micro SD card into the card slot with the gold contacts facing down.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
3. Powering On the Camera:
- Press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the camera powers on.
- The camera will perform a self-test, and the LCD screen will display the SeaLife logo.
4. Setting the Date and Time:
- Use the arrow buttons to navigate the menu and select "Setup."
- Choose "Date & Time" and adjust the settings accordingly.
5. Basic Camera Modes:
- The camera offers various shooting modes, including Photo, Video, and Burst.
- Use the mode button to switch between these modes.
6. Underwater Mode:
- The ReefMaster RM-4K has a dedicated underwater mode for optimal color correction.
- Press the mode button repeatedly until you reach the underwater mode icon (a fish).
7. Taking Photos:
- In photo mode, aim the camera at the subject and press the shutter button halfway to focus.
- Once the focus is locked, press the shutter button fully to take the photo.
8. Recording Videos:
- In video mode, press the shutter button to start recording.
- Press the shutter button again to stop recording.
9. Reviewing Media:
- Press the play button to access the playback mode and review your photos and videos.
- Use the arrow buttons to navigate through the media.
10. Transferring Files:
- Connect the camera to a computer using the USB cable to transfer files.
- The camera will be recognized as a removable storage device.
