To pair your Plantronics BackBeat FIT 500 headphones with your device, follow these steps:
1. Slide the power switch on the headphones to the "on" position. You will hear "pairing" and the LEDs will flash red and blue.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your phone and set it to search for new devices. On an iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth > On. On an Android device, go to Settings > Bluetooth: On > Scan for devices.
3. Select "PLT BBFIT500 Series" from the list of available devices.
4. If prompted, enter the passcode "0000" or accept the connection.
5. Once successfully paired, you will hear "pairing successful" and the LEDs will stop flashing.
If you want to pair a second device, follow these additional steps:
1. Slide and hold the power button towards the Bluetooth icon until the LEDs flash red and blue.

1. Put your headphones in pair mode by sliding and holding the power button towards the Bluetooth icon. You will hear "pairing" and the LEDs will flash red and blue.
2. On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences > Bluetooth.
