To connect your speakers to the AudioSource Digital Amplifier AD1002, follow these steps:
1. Determine the mode you want to use: stereo or bridged. In stereo mode, you can connect one or two pairs of speakers. In bridged mode, the amplifier functions as a single channel mono amplifier.
2. For stereo mode:
- Connect the positive (red) terminal of each speaker to the positive (red) terminal of the corresponding channel on the amplifier.
- Connect the negative (black) terminal of each speaker to the negative (black) terminal of the corresponding channel on the amplifier.
3. For bridged mode:
- Set the mode switch on the amplifier to "Bridged."
- Connect the positive (red) terminal of your speaker to the red (+) terminal noted next to the bridging mark on the amplifier.
- Connect the negative (black) terminal of your speaker to the unmarked positive (red) terminal on the amplifier.
Note: Only one zone (A or B) can be bridged. Do not attempt to bridge both A and B speaker terminals.
Make sure your speakers have an impedance of 8 ohms or greater. Using speakers with a lower impedance may damage the amplifier.
