To connect the KEF Q950 floorstanding speakers to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your audio system is turned off and unplugged.
2. Locate the speaker terminals on the back of the Q950 speakers. These terminals are labeled as "+" and "-" for each channel (left and right).
3. Strip the insulation from the ends of your speaker wire, exposing the bare wire.
4. Insert the bare wire into the corresponding "+" and "-" terminals on the back of each speaker. Ensure that the wire is securely inserted and that there is no loose strands of wire.
5. Tighten the terminals by turning them clockwise to secure the wire in place. Ensure that the wire is held firmly and cannot be pulled out easily.
6. Repeat the above steps for the other speaker, making sure to connect the left and right channels correctly.
7. Once both speakers are connected, locate the speaker outputs on your audio system or amplifier.
8. Connect the other end of the speaker wire to the corresponding speaker outputs on your audio system. Again, ensure that the wire is securely connected and tightened.
9. Double-check all connections to ensure they are secure and properly matched (left to left, right to right).
10. Once all connections are made, you can turn on your audio system and start enjoying the sound from your KEF Q950 floorstanding speakers.
