1. Insert a SIM card from a mobile phone into the device. Make sure the SIM card has an active data plan.
2. Hide the device in a discreet location where it will not be easily noticed.
3. From your own mobile phone, call the pay-as-you-go number associated with the SIM card inserted in the device.
4. Pay attention to the call, as you will be able to hear the conversation happening around the device. This allows you to understand what is being discussed in the vicinity of the device.
The device works by using the GSM/GPRS network to transmit its location information. It has a built-in GPS positioning system that provides accuracy within 10 meters. When you call the device, it activates and allows you to listen to the surrounding conversation.
