To achieve the best sound quality with the JBL Arena 180 floor-standing speakers, it is recommended to place them 6-10 feet apart. Angling the speakers towards the listening position can improve stereo imaging. The most accurate stereo soundstage is achieved when the angle between the listener and the speakers is between 40 and 60 degrees. If you are placing the speakers on a thick rug or plush carpeting, you can use the included carpet spikes for stability. It is also advised to place the speakers at least 20 inches away from the side walls for optimal performance. Additionally, for wall-mounting the Arena 120 speakers, you can use the provided wall template to mark the positions on the wall for mounting screws. It is important to follow the instructions for proper installation and selection of hardware to ensure safe wall-mounting.
