To connect your Bowers & Wilkins Formation Audio to your home network, please follow these steps:
1. Download and install the Bowers & Wilkins Home app on your iOS or Android device. Make sure your device is running iOS V11.4 or later, or Android V8.1 or later.
2. Ensure that Bluetooth and WiFi services are enabled on your iOS or Android device.
3. Connect your Formation Audio to a power source using the provided mains power cable.
4. Launch the Bowers & Wilkins Home app on your device. The app will search for Formation products in setup mode.
5. Tap on your Formation Audio when it appears in the app as available for setup.
6. The app will prompt you to name the "space" in which your Formation Audio will be used. You can choose from a list of default space names or create your own.
7. Follow the app instructions to connect your Formation Audio to your home WiFi network. If you have other Formation products connected to your network, the WiFi password may not be required.
8. If your Formation Audio is connected to your network router using an Ethernet cable, the WiFi setup process will be bypassed.
9. Once the network setup is complete, your Formation Audio is ready to use. You can now stream audio from your preferred streaming services and play it through your existing audio devices.
Note: During the setup process, it is recommended to keep your Formation Audio and the device running the Bowers & Wilkins Home app in close proximity to ensure a stable Bluetooth connection.
