To connect your laptop to the NEC NP-M311W projector, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your laptop and the projector are both powered off.
2. Locate the VGA or HDMI port on your laptop. The specific port will depend on the model of your laptop.
3. Connect one end of the VGA or HDMI cable to the corresponding port on your laptop.
4. Locate the VGA or HDMI input port on the back of the projector.
5. Connect the other end of the VGA or HDMI cable to the input port on the projector.
6. Power on your laptop and the projector.
7. On the projector's remote control, press the "Input" button to select the appropriate input source (VGA or HDMI) that you connected your laptop to.
8. On your laptop, go to the display settings and select the option to extend or duplicate the display onto the projector.
