To connect the ELAC DA42-BK Dolby Atmos Modules to your AV receiver, follow the instructions provided by your Dolby Atmos AV receiver. The specific connection instructions may vary depending on the manufacturer. Make sure to use appropriate gauge wires (minimum of 16 gauge wire for runs up to 25 feet) and ensure that the wire polarity is connected correctly. Most speaker cables are color-coded for ease of use, so connect the positive (red) connection on the amplifier terminal to the positive (red) on your speakers, and do the same for the negative side. Strip off approximately 1/2" of the insulation from the ends of the speaker cable, twist the bare strands, and insert them into the binding post of the speakers. It is important to note that the ELAC DA42-BK Dolby Atmos Modules are designed specifically for use as Atmos Enabled speakers and cannot be used as traditional speakers.
