To connect the ELAC SUB3010-BK Watt Powered Subwoofer to your AV receiver or pre-amp, you will need an RCA cable (not supplied). Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. If your AV receiver or pre-amp has a dedicated subwoofer or LFE output, locate the LFE/Subwoofer output on your AV receiver/pre-amp.
2. Connect one end of the RCA cable to the LFE/Subwoofer output on your AV receiver/pre-amp.
3. Locate the Right RCA input on the back of the ELAC SUB3010-BK subwoofer.
4. Connect the other end of the RCA cable to the Right RCA input on the subwoofer.
5. Ensure that the connections are secure and properly inserted.
6. Power on your AV receiver/pre-amp and the ELAC SUB3010-BK subwoofer.
7. Adjust the volume and crossover settings on your AV receiver/pre-amp to control the subwoofer's output.
Note: If your AV receiver/pre-amp does not have a dedicated LFE/Subwoofer output, you can connect a set of stereo RCA connectors from the pre-outs on the pre-amp to the left and right RCA inputs on the subwoofer. If your pre-amp only has one set of pre-outs, you can use a splitter for each output and connect two sets of stereo RCA cables to both the amplifier and the subwoofer.
Please refer to the ELAC SUB3010-BK Watt Powered Subwoofer User Manual for more detailed information and illustrations on connecting the subwoofer.
