To install the Dual Electronics DS653 3-Way 6.5-Inch Coaxial Car Speaker System, please follow these guidelines:
1. Before installation, disconnect the negative terminal from the battery to prevent damage to the unit and ensure safety.
2. Determine where you want to mount the speakers. Make sure the area is large enough for the speaker to mount evenly and deep enough for the speaker to fit.
3. Refer to the specification chart in the manual to determine the proper diameter hole to cut for your speaker model.
4. If needed, use the grille as a template to mark the locations for the mounting screws. Drill the holes with a 3/32" bit.
5. Be sure to observe proper polarity when connecting the wires. The speaker's positive terminal is indicated with a "+" symbol.
6. Fit the speaker into the hole cut-out and mount it using the supplied screws. If you are using the speaker grill, insert four screws into the grill holes and then mount the speaker.
Please note that these are basic installation instructions. If you are unsure about installing the speaker system yourself, it is recommended to have it installed by a qualified audio technician or professional car audio installation center.
