To connect your ViewSonic PG800W projector to a network using HDMI, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your projector is powered on and that the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the projector and the source device (e.g., laptop, Blu-ray player, etc.).
2. On the projector's remote control, press the "Menu" button to access the on-screen display (OSD) menu.
3. Use the arrow keys on the remote control to navigate to the "Network" or "Network Setup" option in the OSD menu. Press the "Enter" or "OK" button to select it.
4. In the network setup menu, select the "Wired" or "Wireless" option, depending on your network connection type. If you are using a wired connection, ensure that an Ethernet cable is connected to the projector's LAN port. If you are using a wireless connection, select your network from the available options and enter the password if prompted.
5. Once the network connection is established, navigate to the "HDMI" or "Input" option in the OSD menu and select it.
6. In the HDMI input menu, select the HDMI port to which your source device is connected (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.).
7. If necessary, adjust the display settings, such as aspect ratio, resolution, and screen position, to optimize the image quality. These settings can usually be found in the "Display" or "Picture" menu of the OSD.
8. Press the "Menu" button again to exit the OSD menu and start using your projector with the network connection enabled.
