Installing the MasTrack MT-OBD device is a simple process. Here are the steps to install it in your car:
1. Locate the OBD-II port: The OBD-II port is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side of the vehicle. It is a 16-pin connector that is used for vehicle diagnostics. Refer to your car's manual or search online for the specific location of the OBD-II port in your car.
2. Plug in the MT-OBD device: Once you have located the OBD-II port, simply plug the MT-OBD device into the port. Make sure it is securely connected.
3. Wait for the lights to illuminate: After plugging in the device, wait for the lights on the device to illuminate. This indicates that the device is powered on and ready to report.
4. Start tracking: Once the device is powered on, it will automatically begin reporting every time the car is turned on. You can view live or historical tracking by logging into the web interface using a computer, smartphone, tablet, or other web-enabled device.
