To connect external speakers to the Optoma HD143X Theater Projector, you can use either the 3.5mm audio output or the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) feature.
1. Using the 3.5mm audio output:
- Locate the 3.5mm audio output jack on the projector.
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable to the audio output jack on the projector.
- Connect the other end of the audio cable to the input jack of your external speakers or audio system.
- Make sure the external speakers or audio system is turned on and set to the correct input source.
2. Using HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel):
- Ensure that your external speakers or audio system support HDMI ARC.
- Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI ARC port on the projector to the HDMI ARC port on your external speakers or audio system.
- Make sure the external speakers or audio system is turned on and set to the correct input source.
Note: If you are using an HDMI ARC connection, you may need to enable the HDMI ARC feature in the projector's settings menu. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on how to access and configure the settings menu.
