To turn on the noise-canceling feature on the Sony MDR-NC6 headphones, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the headphones are turned off.
2. Press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds until you hear the voice prompt "Power on".
3. Once the headphones are turned on, the noise-canceling feature will be activated immediately. You will see the NC button's indicator (green) turn on, indicating that the noise canceling feature is activated.
