To install the Dual Electronics DS692 2-Way Car Speakers, please follow these guidelines:
1. Determine where you want to mount the speakers. Make sure the area is large enough and deep enough for the speakers to fit evenly.
2. Refer to the specification chart in the manual to determine the proper diameter hole to cut for your speaker model.
3. If needed, use the grille as a template to mark the locations for the mounting screws. Drill the holes with a 3/32" bit.
4. Be sure to observe proper polarity when connecting the wires. The speaker's positive terminal is indicated with a "+" symbol.
5. Fit the speaker into the hole cut-out and mount it using the supplied screws. If you are using the speaker grill, insert 4 screws into the grill holes and then mount the speaker.
Please note that these installation instructions are basic. If you are unsure about installing the speaker system yourself, it is recommended to have it installed by a qualified audio technician. Additionally, it is important to disconnect the battery negative terminal before starting the installation to prevent damage to the unit, fire, and possible injury.
