To install the BLAUPUNKT GTX691 car speakers, follow these steps:
1. Before installation, it is recommended to operate your system at low volume levels to test the subwoofers before permanently securing them.
2. Plan the complete installation, including the routing of wires, power connections, and mounting locations, before starting the installation process.
3. Choose a suitable location for the speakers within your vehicle. BLAUPUNKT speakers are designed to fit in almost any factory location. If a factory location is not available, choose a location with sufficient air space to ensure optimal performance.
4. Mount the speakers in the chosen location, such as the door panels, kick panels, or rear decks. Ideally, the speakers should be mounted in enclosed airspace for extended bass response.
5. Ensure that the connections running from your amplifier or other processors to the speakers are secure and properly connected. Check the connections inside the speaker box as well.
6. If you experience distorted sound, loss of performance, or rattling from the speakers, check the connections and enclosure for any issues. Look for leaks, cracks, or broken pieces in the enclosure that may affect performance.
7. If the problem persists, remove the speakers and inspect for any burned wire leads or separated components. A burning smell may indicate a blown or damaged subwoofer.
8. If none of the above steps solve the problem, check the other components in your vehicle, including connections to and from the box, amplifier, source unit, or any other processors. Refer to the specific manufacturer's instructions for troubleshooting and setting configurations.
