To connect your audio sources to the Dayton Audio MA1240a amplifier, you have several options. The amplifier has two common or BUS inputs (BUS 1 and BUS 2) that receive audio signals from standard line-level audio sources. You can connect your audio sources to these BUS inputs using high-quality RCA cables. The BUS line outputs on the amplifier allow you to feed the BUS inputs to other amplifiers if needed.
In addition to the BUS inputs, each channel on the amplifier has its own dedicated input (labeled as LINE IN). This allows you to connect audio sources directly to each channel. Simply connect the audio output of your source device to the corresponding LINE IN input on the amplifier using RCA cables.
It's important to note that you can select the desired source input for each channel using the Input Selection switch associated with each channel. The three main inputs are BUS 1, BUS 2, and LINE IN. Set the Input Selection switch to the desired input to play the corresponding source connected to that input.
Please refer to the "Rear Panel" section of the owner's manual for a visual representation and more detailed instructions on connecting your audio sources to the amplifier.
