To install the Dual Electronics BUCAM200 Universal Backup Camera, follow these steps:
1. Determine the mounting location: Choose a suitable location on your vehicle for mounting the camera. It can be mounted on the bumper or near the license plate.
2. Mount the camera: Use the adjustable mount and the provided screws to securely mount the camera in the chosen location. Ensure that the camera is positioned correctly for optimal viewing angle.
3. Connect the power cable: Connect the power cable with the built-in power wire to a 12V power source. You can connect it to the vehicle's running lights, license plate illumination lamps, battery, or any other 12V source for continuous operation.
4. Connect the video cable: Connect the video cable to the camera and route it to the desired display screen. If you are connecting it to a factory-installed screen, you will need an integration harness for compatibility.
5. Test the camera: Once the installation is complete, test the camera by putting your vehicle in reverse and checking the display screen for the camera feed. Adjust the camera angle if necessary.
