To connect the BOSS BX35 Electronic Car Crossover to your car audio system, follow these steps:
1. Find a suitable location in your vehicle to mount the crossover.
2. Bolt the crossover to the mounting surface securely.
3. Connect the power, ground, and remote terminals of the crossover using minimum 16 gauge wire. The (+12V) connection should be made directly to the car battery, and the remote wire should be connected to the Remote Turn On Lead of your head unit. Make sure to install a 3A fuse within 18 inches of the battery terminal when connecting directly to the battery.
4. Use high-quality RCA cables to connect all line inputs and outputs of the crossover.
5. Double-check all connections before powering up the system.
6. Set all level controls to their minimum positions and adjust the crossover controls, switches, etc., to the desired frequency or position.
7. Once the system is powered up, set the volume control on your head unit to a moderate level where your normal speaking voice can be heard while the music is playing.
8. Further fine-tuning of the various controls may be necessary to achieve the desired sound quality.
