No, this amplifier is not matched for a magnetic cartridge and does not have enough gain to properly amplify the signal from a record player. You will need a separate phono pre-amp to connect your record player to this amplifier. The phono pre-amp will boost the signal from the cartridge to a level that can be properly amplified by the amplifier. Make sure to connect the output of the phono pre-amp to one of the analog inputs on the amplifier using an appropriate audio cable.
