To use the AWBLIN NS-837 Heavy Duty Light Tester to check the voltage in your car's electrical system, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the Tester: Take the AWBLIN NS-837 out of its box carefully.
2. Check for Damage: Before using the device, look it over for any damage or flaws that you can see.
3. Connect the Alligator Clip: Connect the big alligator clip to the circuit's ground (negative charge).
4. How to Use the Probe: Touch the test wire or positive lead to the stainless steel probe.
5. Fire Up the Tester: If necessary, fire up the tester; it may do this on its own when you link it.
6. Check for Voltage Readings: While the probe is in contact with the circuit, keep an eye on the LED digital monitor for voltage readings.
7. To find the polarity, look at the color of the LED lights. Red means positive, and green means negative.
8. Do a Lot of Tests: To get used to the tester, try a lot of different circuits, like the headlights, ignition systems, and so on.
9. Use an Extended Wire to Get More Reach: For more movement and freedom during testing, use the 102-inch spring wire.
10. Watch out for alerts: Listen to the beep sound to make sure that voltage has been found.
11. Check for Over-Voltage: If the screen shows "OL," unplug it right away to keep it from breaking.
12. Power Off After Use: If necessary, turn off the tester or set it to turn itself off after a certain amount of time.
13. How to Store It: When not in use, put the tester somewhere dry and safe.
14. Do Regular Functional Checks: Test known circuits on a regular basis to make sure they are reliable and accurate.
