To test the voltage of a car battery using the JASTIND JTCVT-01B Digital LCD Circuit Tester, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the car engine is turned off and the key is removed from the ignition for safety.
2. Locate the car battery. It is usually located under the hood of the car.
3. Connect the black alligator clip of the JASTIND JTCVT-01B tester to the negative terminal of the car battery. The negative terminal is usually marked with a "-" symbol.
4. Connect the red probe of the tester to the positive terminal of the car battery. The positive terminal is usually marked with a "+" symbol.
5. Turn on the JASTIND JTCVT-01B tester by flipping the power switch, if applicable. If there is no power switch, the tester may turn on automatically when connected.
6. Observe the LCD screen of the tester. It should display the voltage reading of the car battery.
7. Take note of the voltage reading. A healthy car battery should have a voltage reading of around 12.6 volts when fully charged. If the voltage reading is significantly lower, it may indicate a weak or discharged battery.
8. After taking the voltage reading, turn off the JASTIND JTCVT-01B tester if it has a power switch. If not, the tester may enter auto-power-off mode after a few minutes of inactivity.
9. Disconnect the tester from the car battery by removing the alligator clip and probe.
10. Store the JASTIND JTCVT-01B tester in a dry and safe place when not in use.
