If you are experiencing popping or crackling noises with the WSA-5RP wireless rear speakers, it is likely due to your AV receiver sending too much power to the transmitter. To eliminate these noises, follow these steps:
1. Raise the volume all the way up on the WSA-5RP's wireless receiver output/amp end.
2. Use your AV receiver's auto-calibration feature to adjust and lower the volume specifically for the rear speakers.
3. If your AV receiver or preamp allows individual level settings for each speaker, try decreasing the preamp level output to the surrounds and raise the volume on the wireless receiver.
By adjusting the volume levels in this way, you can ensure that the rear speakers receive an appropriate amount of power and eliminate the popping or crackling noises.
