To properly ground the Tupavco Ethernet Surge Protector, you need to ensure that the surge protector's ethernet ground wire (11 Inch - 12 AWG) is connected to earth using the shortest path. The most common method is to connect the ground wire to a ground busbar that is already grounded on an electrical panel or network rack cabinet. Alternatively, you can also ground the surge protector using the grounding block on the breaker panel, a grounding rod, or the terminal of the nearest outlet by attaching the ground wire to the grounded outlet's center xxxx 's circular grounding hole. It is important to establish a good ground connection to allow excess electricity to take the path of least resistance and protect your equipment effectively. Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and illustrations on grounding the surge protector.
