Connecting your audio sources to the Rolls SS412 source selector is a straightforward process. Here's a step-by-step guide:
1. Locate the rear panel of the SS412. You will find four pairs of RCA connectors labeled as "1," "2," "3," and "4." These connectors are used to connect your input source signals.
2. Identify the RCA output connector on the rear panel. This connector is labeled as "OUT" and is used to connect the SS412 to your amplifier or other audio devices.
3. Take the RCA cables from your audio sources and connect them to the corresponding RCA input connectors on the SS412. For example, if you have a CD player, connect its RCA cables to the "1" input connectors on the SS412.
4. Once all your audio sources are connected, take another RCA cable and connect one end to the "OUT" connector on the SS412.
5. Connect the other end of the RCA cable to the input of your amplifier or other audio device.
6. Now, you can use the volume xxxx on the front panel of the SS412 to adjust the level of the selected audio source. The volume adjustment applies to the signal coming from the source selected using the "1-4" front panel switch.
Additionally, the SS412 also features an additional input option on the front panel. The "IN 4" is a 3.5mm (1/8") stereo input that works in parallel with the RCA input #4 on the rear panel. This input allows you to easily connect your phone or other devices without needing access to the back of the unit.
