To turn on the DEWALT DW089K 3-Beam Line Laser, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the batteries are installed correctly according to the (+) and (-) markings inside the battery compartment.
2. Place the laser on a flat surface.
3. The laser has three ON/OFF buttons: one for the horizontal laser line, one for the vertical laser line, and one for the side vertical laser line.
4. Press the desired ON/OFF button to turn on the corresponding laser line. You can power on one laser line at a time or multiple laser lines simultaneously.
5. To turn off the laser lines, press the respective ON/OFF button again.
