The Kaito Emergency Radio Voyager Max KA900 can be charged using multiple power sources. Here's how you can charge it:
1. AC/DC Adapter: The radio can be charged using an AC/DC adapter (not included). Simply connect the adapter to the DC-in input charge jack located on the radio.
2. Built-in Rechargeable Battery: The radio comes with a built-in 2,000 mAh li-ion rechargeable battery. To charge the battery, you can use the optional AC adapter, hand cranking, a USB power source, or the solar panel. When using the AC adapter, connect it to the DC-in input charge jack. When using hand cranking, turn the dynamo crank handle to charge the battery. For USB power source charging, set the power input and output switch to "IN" and connect the micro-USB input charge port to a USB power source. The patented flip-up 180-degree adjustable solar panel can also trickle charge the battery.
3. USB Output Charge Port: The radio also has a USB output charge port that allows you to charge other devices, such as your cellphone. Set the power input and output switch to "OUT" and connect your device to the USB output charge port.
