To connect the Amazon Basics Bookshelf Speakers with Passive Speaker to your receiver or amplifier, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure your receiver or amplifier is turned off and unplugged from the power source.
2. Locate the push-type connectors (input) on the back of the speakers. These connectors are used to connect the speaker wires.
3. Strip the insulation off the ends of your speaker wires to expose the bare wire.
4. Press on the push-type connector (E) on one of the speakers and insert the positive (red) wire into the positive connector and the negative (black) wire into the negative connector. Release the connector to lock the wire in place. Repeat this step for the other speaker.
5. Now, locate the speaker output terminals on your receiver or amplifier. These terminals are usually labeled as "Speaker Out" or "Speaker Output."
6. Connect the positive (red) wire from one speaker to the positive terminal on the receiver or amplifier. Connect the negative (black) wire from the same speaker to the negative terminal on the receiver or amplifier. Repeat this step for the other speaker, ensuring that the positive and negative connections match.
7. Once all the connections are made, double-check that the wires are securely connected and there are no loose connections.
8. Now, plug in your receiver or amplifier and turn it on.
9. Adjust the volume and settings on your receiver or amplifier to your desired level.
10. Test the speakers by playing some audio through your system. If everything is connected correctly, you should hear sound coming from the Amazon Basics Bookshelf Speakers.
