1. Start by locating a suitable mounting location on your vehicle. The Midland 3 dB Gain Ghost Antenna with NMO Connection is designed for NMO mounts, so make sure you have a compatible mount available.
2. Once you have chosen the mounting location, remove any existing antenna or mount from that spot.
3. If necessary, drill a hole in the desired location for the NMO mount. The hole should be between 3/8 inch and 3/4 inch in size to accommodate the NMO Cable Assembly and mount.
4. Connect the NMO Cable Assembly to the NMO mount and route the cable through the hole you drilled.
5. Secure the NMO mount to your vehicle using the appropriate hardware.
6. Attach the Midland 3 dB Gain Ghost Antenna to the NMO mount. Ensure that it is securely tightened.
7. Connect the other end of the NMO Cable Assembly to your radio or radio system.
8. Once everything is connected, turn on your radio and test the antenna to ensure proper functionality.
