To set the alarm on the JENSEN JCR-175 Alarm Clock Radio, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the ALARM button.
2. Use the HOUR button to set the desired wake-up hour.
3. Press and hold the ALARM button again.
4. Use the MINUTE button to set the desired wake-up minute.
Note: Pay attention to the PM indicator on the clock display to ensure that the alarm time is set correctly for AM or PM. If the PM indicator is on, the alarm time will be in the PM, and if it's off, the alarm time will be in the AM.
To check the set wake-up time, simply press the ALARM button. The display will change from the current time to the set wake-up time. Release the ALARM button to return to the current time.
To wake up to the radio, slide the FUNCTION SELECTOR to the "ON" position, select the desired band (AM or FM), station, and adjust the volume to the desired level. Then, slide the FUNCTION SELECTOR to the "AUTO" position. The AUTO indicator will light up. At the set wake-up time, the radio will turn on and play for about two hours before automatically shutting off.
If you prefer to wake up to the alarm sound, set the FUNCTION SELECTOR to the "ALARM" position. The AUTO indicator will light up to confirm that the alarm is set. At the set wake-up time, the alarm will sound and continue for about two hours before automatically shutting off.
You can also use the SNOOZE button to get a few more minutes of sleep after the alarm or radio sounds. Pressing the SNOOZE button will stop the alarm for approximately 9 minutes before it turns on again.
Remember to adjust the alarm settings as needed and set the FUNCTION SELECTOR to the "OFF" position if you don't want the alarm to turn on the following day.
