The Pyle PDIW52 speaker system is designed for easy installation in both in-wall and in-ceiling settings. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to install the speakers:
1. Determine the ideal placement for your speakers. Consider the room layout and acoustics to achieve optimal sound distribution.
2. Use the provided cut-out template to mark the desired location for the speakers on the wall or ceiling. Ensure that there is enough space and clearance for the speakers.
3. Cut the drywall using the marked template. Be careful to leave at least half an inch between a wall stud and the speaker cutout to allow the locking tabs to swivel into place.
4. Unscrew the two screws on the speaker frame to separate it. Place the frame assembly in the wall or ceiling cutout.
5. xxxx down each of the six Phillips screws to secure the frame to the rear surface of the drywall.
6. Connect the speaker wires to the speaker terminals. Make sure to match the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals correctly. Red is typically used for the positive terminal, and black for the negative terminal.
7. xxxx down the six Phillips head screws to secure the speaker in place.
8. Apply the provided adhesive strips to secure the speaker grille.
9. Place the metal grille over the speaker.
10. After installing the speaker grille, gently press on the mesh of the tweeter to adjust its position.
