To use the Andis CI-4P Professional Ceramic Press Comb, please follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Shampoo, rinse, condition, and towel dry your hair.
2. Blow dry your hair until it is completely dry.
3. Part your hair into sections. Each section should be about half the length and half the depth of the comb.
4. Rest the comb on its stand on a smooth, flat surface. Plug it into an electrical outlet to pre-heat. (Refer to the Operating Instructions section of the manual for more details on temperature settings and voltage.)
5. Press the "ON" button and select the desired operating temperature. The red power indicator light will start blinking as the comb heats up. Once the comb reaches the selected temperature, the red power indicator light will stop blinking and remain on.
6. Grasp a section of hair and hold it away from the scalp. Insert the pressing comb into the hair section close to the scalp, ensuring that the back of the comb is against the hair.
Caution: Avoid letting the pressing comb touch your bare skin or scalp to prevent burns. Do not use the comb with aerosol or other flammable hair products.
7. Slowly turn the comb away from you and move it through the entire hair strand until the ends pass through the teeth.
8. Repeat the procedure for all sections of hair until the entire head is complete.
9. Press the "OFF" button to turn off the comb and allow it to cool down.
10. After use, unplug the comb and let it cool completely. Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth for cleaning.
11. Store the comb by untwisting the cord before use. After use, re-wrap the cord and store it in a safe place. Avoid wrapping the cord tightly around the appliance or hanging the unit by the power cord.
