To replace the batteries in the Educational Insights EI-8477 Multiplication Slam, follow these steps:
1. Carefully remove the battery compartment door located on the bottom of the unit.
2. Install three (3) fresh AA batteries in the battery compartment, making sure to follow the diagram showing correct battery installation. The diagram can be found next to the battery compartment.
3. Ensure that you do not use rechargeable batteries, mix old and new batteries, or mix different types of batteries (alkaline, standard, or rechargeable).
4. Non-rechargeable batteries should not be recharged, and rechargeable batteries should be removed from the product before being charged.
5. Rechargeable batteries should only be charged under adult supervision.
6. Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
7. Insert the batteries with the correct polarity.
8. Remove exhausted batteries from the product to prevent corrosion and possible damage.
9. If the unit will not be used for more than two weeks, it is recommended to remove the batteries to prevent corrosion and possible damage to the product.
