To install the batteries in the Educational Insights EI-8490 Electronic Math Game, please follow these steps:
1. Use a screwdriver to carefully loosen the xxxx on the battery compartment door.
2. Open the battery compartment door.
3. Inside the battery compartment, you will find an illustration showing the correct polarity for the batteries. Make sure to install the batteries with the correct polarity.
4. The Educational Insights EI-8490 Electronic Math Game requires two fresh AA alkaline batteries. Only use batteries of the same or equivalent type.
5. It is recommended to use alkaline batteries for optimal performance.
6. Do not mix old and new batteries, and do not mix different types of batteries (alkaline, standard, or rechargeable).
7. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
8. Make sure the supply terminals are not short-circuited.
9. Non-rechargeable batteries should not be recharged.
10. If the batteries are exhausted, remove them from the unit.
11. Close the battery compartment door and tighten the xxxx .
12. To prevent battery corrosion, it is recommended to remove the batteries from the unit if it is not in use for two weeks.
