To install the software for the Learning Resources LER 4429 Handheld Digital Microscope, please follow these steps:
1. For Windows-based PC:
- Insert the supplied application CD into the CD-ROM drive of your computer.
- Double-click the "xploview.exe" icon located on the driver CD.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the application software for Zoomy 2.0.
2. For Mac OS-based PC:
- Insert the supplied application CD into the CD-ROM drive of your computer.
- Double-click the "xploview.dmg" icon located on the driver CD.
- Drag the xploview icon into the Applications folder.
Once the software is installed, you can connect the device to your computer using the USB cable provided. The first time you connect the device, a driver will automatically be installed by Windows or Mac OS. This process may take a few minutes.
To start using the microscope, launch the xploview software:
- For Windows-based PC, double-click the xploview icon from the desktop or start menu.
- For Mac OS-based PC, double-click the xploview icon from the Applications menu.
