The Kicker KB6B speakers can be mounted either vertically or horizontally on the wall or ceiling. The speakers come with a quick mounting system that makes installation easy. To mount the speakers, follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired location for mounting the speakers. Ensure that the mounting surface is sturdy and can support the weight of the speakers.
2. Use the included mounting brackets and screws to attach the brackets to the back of the speakers. The brackets have multiple mounting holes to accommodate different mounting options.
3. Mark the desired location on the wall or ceiling where you want to mount the speakers. Use a level to ensure that the speakers will be mounted straight.
4. Drill pilot holes into the marked locations on the wall or ceiling, using a drill bit appropriate for the mounting screws.
5. Align the mounting brackets on the back of the speakers with the pilot holes on the wall or ceiling. Insert the mounting screws through the brackets and into the pilot holes.
6. Tighten the screws securely to ensure that the speakers are firmly mounted.
7. Once the speakers are mounted, you can adjust their position to achieve the desired sound projection.
