To connect your smartphone to the PHILIPS Bluetooth Boombox Speaker, follow these steps:
1. Make sure that the Bluetooth function is enabled on your smartphone and that it is set to be discoverable by other devices.
2. Press the SOURCE button on the speaker repeatedly until you select the "BLUETOOTH" source.
3. The display will show "[PAIRING]" and the indicator light will start flashing.
4. On your smartphone, go to the Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
5. Select "Philips PX8" from the list of available devices.
6. If prompted, enter the default password "0000" to pair your smartphone with the speaker.
7. Once the pairing is successful, the speaker will beep twice and the display will show "[Connected]".
8. You can now play audio from your smartphone through the Bluetooth connection.
